William "Will" E. Reed, 35, of Sissonville, passed away suddenly on Friday, October 25, 2013, at home.

Will was born December 22, 1977, and was a lifelong resident of Kanawha County. Will was employed as an EMT at Life Ambulance. He graduated from Sissonville High School in 1996. He was a member of the Sissonville Volunteer Fire Department since 1996 and Beni Kedem Shrine and the South Charleston Masonic Lodge No. 168.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Elizabeth "Libby" Reed, on December 6, 2012, and grandfather, Hershel "Tater" Sisson.

Left to cherish his memory are his son, Brett Edward; father, Eddie; maternal grandmother, Josephine "Jo" Sisson; paternal grandparents, Joe and Rodia Case; his companion, Misty Conner; her daughter, Kaaleigh Conner; mother of Brett, Jennifer Reed; and a host of family and friends.

Friends may call at Long & Fisher Funeral Home from 2 to 8 p.m. Friday, November 1. Service will be held Saturday, November 2, at 11 a.m. at Sissonville High School with Matt Lanham, Jason Legg and the Rev. Robert Legg officiating.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Poca Valley Bank in care of Sissonville Fire Department for the Will Reed Fund.
