William Lee "Bill" Milam, 74, of Sissonville, passed away on June 10, 2023. Born on March 10, 1949 in Charleston, he was the son of the late William Warren Milam and Ottie Fields. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brothers, Edgar and Bob Milam. Bill liked drinkin', smokin', and having a good time. He enjoyed NASCAR, watching westerns, and spending time with his family. Above all, he loved his wife more than anything. Bill is survived by his beloved wife of 42 years, Janet Milam; children, William Lee Milam, Jr. (Kimberly) of TN, Michael Powell (Leah) of Belle, WV, and Bobby Powell (Kathy) of Alum Creek, WV; 5 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; siblings, Patsy, Danny, Frank, J.R., David and Larry, and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 P.M. on Wednesday, June 14, 2023 at Long and Fisher Funeral Home in Sissonville. Visitation will be held one hour prior to services at 11:00 A.M.
