Obituary
William R. Haynes, Sr.
William Rufus Haynes, Sr., 73, of Charleston, passed away peacefully at his home on Tuesday, January 26, 2016 surrounded by his loving family.
Born October 30, 1942 in Kanawha County, he was the son of the late John and Esta Haynes. William enjoyed carpentry and gardening.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by two brothers, Orville and Owen Haynes; and two sisters, Joann Waldorf and Daisy Mae Gamber.
William will be missed by his loving wife of 52years, Janice Lynn Haynes; two sons, William Rufus Haynes, Jr. and his wife Tammy, and Tad Avery Haynes; one sister, Marlena S. Parker; two brothers, Locke E. Haynes and John E. Haynes; and two grandchildren, Haylie B. Haynes and Chase R. Haynes.
Graveside services will be held on Friday, January 29, 2016 at 11am at Haynes Family Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family has asked donations to be made to: Hubbard Hospice House, 1001 Kennawa Dr, Charleston, WV 25311.
