IN LOVING MEMORY OF
William Kenneth
Davis
August 16, 1980 – February 7, 2026
William Kenneth Davis, 45, of Weirton, passed away Saturday, February 7th after a long battle with addiction. While our hearts are broken, we are comforted knowing Billy is finally at peace and free from the pain of this disease.
Billy was the son of the late Wanda Sue Davis and Kenneth Lee Slater. He was also preceded in death by his grandparents, Ralph and Lucy Davis and Orville Slater and his partner, Summer Thaxton.
Billy was a loving, caring person, always ready to joke. If you were around him, you were smiling. His friends described him as crazy, a protector, like a brother and one in a million. He was a graduate of Sissonville High School and was employed by Wood Waste Recycling for the past 7 years. He attended Grace & Truth Church in Southpointe, PA.
Survivors include his children, Brianna and Taylor McCutcheon and Bryce Davis, his grandparents, Barbara and Chester McCutcheon. His aunt and uncles, Kimberly Parsons, Matt McCutcheon, Roy Davis, and Ronnie Davis. His son's grandparents, Sandy & David Harris and Norman & Brenda Thaxton, who helped Billy so many times. He is also survived by his Momma Bear, Kelly Boggess DeWees and her son, Josh George and his friend and roommate, Gregg Seligman. He also leaves behind many cousins and a host of friends.
The family will honor Billy's wishes and he will be cremated. A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, February 24, 2026, at 6:00 p.m. by Cross Church Sissonville and Breath of Life Ministries at Lighthouse Worship Center in Sissonville. Pastor Jay Johnson will be officiating. He will be laid to rest next to his father. In honor of Billy's life, please send a donation to one of your local addiction recovery centers.
