Willard "Winkie" Elmore, 66, of Walton, went to be with the Lord on October 4, 2017. He passed away suddenly at home surrounded by his loving family. He lived an amazing life and had an amazing family. "Daddy, we will love and miss you dearly. God blessed us with an amazing daddy."

He leaves behind his loving wife/companion, Karen Elmore of 40years; three children, Priscilla Elmore, Dollie Elmore and James Elmore; six grandchildren, Mason Willard Ferrebee "Papal''s Little Buddy!", Mary Alice Ferrebee, Brooklyn Swindler, Lakyn Swindler, Kara Flowers, Maleaha Elmore; sisters, Joann Burns and Mary Patton; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Winkie is preceded in death by his parents, Arnold and Dollie Elmore; brothers, John, James, Andrew, and Herbert Elmore; sisters, Arbutus Pritt and Mary Elmore.
