Wanda Patton, 83 of Sissonville, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on November 13th, 2024. Nothing was more important to her in this world than her God and her family. She was a Born Again Christian and a longtime member of Guthrie Baptist Church. She worked as a childcare provider for many years, where she helped shape the life of so many children. Her love of children was such a central part of who she was. She had 5 children, raised 4 others. She had 14 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren. Her heart was pure, and her love was unrivaled. She collected frog figurines, clocks, and snow globes. She loved flowers and all baby animals. She had a sharp mind and a wicked sense of humor. Though her body grew weak, her mind remained sharp as ever.

She is survived by her loving husband Roger Patton of 44 years. She has left behind so many loved ones who will miss her every day of their lives. She is preceded in death by her granddaughter Sarah, her brother Buddy, sister Pat, and parents Ora and Doc. She is reunited in joy with her beloved Daughter Sherrie. Our loss is Heavens Gain.

A celebration of life will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 16, 2024 at Hands On Day Care located at 2393 Sissonville Drive Charleston.
