Wanda L. Fisher, 78, of Sissonville, passed away Tuesday, October 24, 2017. She was born November 13, 1939, to Carl and Icy Young.
Wanda attended Sissonville High School. She worked at Charleston National Bank and was retired from the AFL-CIO. During retirement, Wanda loved gardening and travelling with husband Larry to his softball games. She enjoyed attending her grandchildren's activities and was so proud of them.
Preceding Wanda in death were the love of her life, husband, Larry O. Fisher; parents, Carl and Icy Young; brothers, Jack, Guy, John and Buddy Young; sisters, Helen Slater and Reba Young.
Left to cherish her memory are her only son, Mark Fisher and wife Beth; grandchildren, Andrew Dawson and wife Ashley, Courtney Dawson and husband Ryan; great-grandchildren, Isla Dawson and Lex Rowsey; and Wanda's brothers, Larry, Bob and Hokie Young.
Visitation to be held at Friday, October 27, at Long & Fisher Funeral Home from 11 a.m. until noon
, with service to begin at noon.
