Violet Virginia Crank Fields, 82, of Sissonville went to be with the Lord October 31, 2010 in CAMC Memorial Hospital after a short illness.
She was a member of the Trace Fork Baptist Church and was preceded in death by her husbands, Herbert Crank and Carl Fields, as well as a son, Randy Fields.
Left to cherish her memory are sons, Paris McClanahan, Mike Crank, Tony Crank, Hub Crank, Steve Rhodes, Gary Fields, Mike Fields and Rodney Fields; daughters, Sue Carte, Debbie Rhodes, Brenda Crank, Kathy Reedy, Wilma Reed and Shirley Miller; brother, James McClanahan; 24 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren; and extended family at Cedar Ridge Nursing Center who will miss her dearly.
A graveside service will be 3pm Tuesday, November 2 at Floral Hills Garden of Memories, Sissonville with Pastor Wayne Moss officiating. A gathering of family and friends will be one hour prior to the service at Long and Fisher Funeral Home, Sissonville.
In lieu of flowers the family asks donation be sent to Cedar Ridge Nursing Center, 302 Cedar Ridge Road, Sissonville, WV 25320.
