Vernita Lee, 74, of Sissonville went to be with the Lord on March 18, 2016 at Cedar Ridge Nursing Center after a long illness.

Vernita was preceded in death by her parents, Helena and James Phillips; and a sister, Bonnie Martin.

Left to cherish her memory are her children, Randy Belcher (Sue) of South Charleston, Delores Kinser and Connie Carpenter (Bobby) all of Sissonville; sister, Juanita Summers of Sissonville; brother, Kenneth Phillips of Sissonville; and four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Service will be 2pm Tuesday, March 22, 2016 at Long & Fisher Funeral Home, Sissonville with Pastor Billy Casto officiating. Burial will follow in the Boggess Cemetery, Derrick''s Creek, Sissonville.

A gathering of family and friends will be one hour before the service at the funeral home.
