Thomas "Tommy" Carpenter, 75, of Sissonville passed away February 24, 2010 in CAMC General Hospital.
Tommy was a loving father, grandfather and great grandfather. He enjoyed working and staying busy.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Wilbur and Ernie Carpenter; grandson, Tommy Carpenter; and brothers, Darrell and Dallas Carpenter.
Left to cherish his memory are children, Charlotte Wheeler and her husband, Rick, of Charleston and Pete Carpenter and his wife, Roxanne, of Sissonville; siblings, Katherine, Sis, Bobby, Basil, Danny and Thadis; grandchildren, Danny Wheeler, Misty Johnson and Anna Carpenter; and six great grandchildren.
The Funeral Service will be 1pm Friday, February 26 at Long and Fisher Funeral Home, Sissonville. Burial will follow at the Carpenter Cemetery, Tupper''s Creek.
A gathering of family and friends will be from 6-8pm Thursday at the funeral home.
