Obituary
Timothy David Gentry, 54, of Sissonville, West Virginia passed away on Monday February 27, 2017, at his residence after a short illness.
Tim was born on November 2, 1962, in Charleston, WV. He was a 1981 graduate of Charleston High School.
He worked as a CNA for 30 years at Cedar Ridge Nursing Home in Sissonville.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing, playing the guitar, and watching videos with his great granddaughter Audrianna.
He was also an avid stain glass artist. He is preceded in death by his father, Benjamin Isaac Gentry II.
Surviving is his loving wife of 32 years Judy Turley Gentry; mother Norine Emma Gentry, Son Jodi Todd Taylor (Debbie) of Sissonville, sisters Lenora "Tootie" (Mike) Moriarty of Sissonville, WV and Pamela Gentry of Durham, NC. Brother Benjamin "Ike" (Brandy) Gentry of Gandeeville, WV. Granddaughters: Kelly Price, Jodi "Renae" Taylor, and Katie Taylor, Harley Smith, and grandson Jason Taylor. Great Granddaughters,Audrianna, Great Grandsons, Noah, Jacob, and Oliver. Nephews: Timmy Simon, Mathew Gentry, And Niece: Jessica Gentry.
As per his request, he will be cremated and his ashes will be spread at a location dear to his heart.
Fisher and Long Funeral Home of Sissonville is assisting the family with arrangements.
