SGT Timothy Carrol Garnes, 65, of Charleston, WV. "Popped smoke" on Friday, September 5, 2025.

Tim dedicated his life to aviation in every aspect. He was proud to have been a part of flying, maintaining, and crewing aircraft for almost 50 years. First and foremost, he was proud of his wives, family, and children, who dealt with a lot of hardships for him to follow his dreams.

He leaves behind two sons, Timothy Eric of Sissonville, and Travis Carrol of Cross Lanes; two daughters, Taylor Rochelle of Rocky Mount, VA, and Tori Rene' of Morgantown; mother, Sharon Garnes; brother, Jeff Garnes; six grandchildren, Desera, Mathew, Emma, Mason, Madelyn (D), and Lilly.

He loved his children and their mothers, who bestowed them upon him.
Tim stated that flowers too die and had asked that any donation toward veterans' causes would be greatly appreciated so they may live in peace.

Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 10, 2025 at Long & Fisher Funeral Home. Burial at Donel C. Kinnard Memorial State Veterans Cemetery, located at 130 Academy Drive, Dunbar, WV, 25064.
