Thelma M. Fisher, 97, of Charleston passed away peacefully at Hubbard Hospice House on Saturday, June 6, 2015 surrounded by her loving family.

Born February 21, 1918 in Kanawha County; she was the daughter of the late Otis and Bertha Holly.

Thelma enjoyed sewing, cooking, and taking long walks in Charleston. She loved spending time with her family. Thelma retired from Holiday Inn after 30 years of service.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her loving husband, Shelby M. Fisher.

Thelma is will be missed by her seven children, William "Bill" Fisher, Jerry D. Fisher, Jean A. Thomas, Mark J. Fisher, Dale M. Fisher, Dora L. Woody, and Sandra K. Clay; a brother, Lonnie Holly; 15 grandchildren, 36 great grandchildren, and five great great grandchildren.

Funeral Service will be held at 2pm on Wednesday, June 10, 2015 at Long & Fisher Funeral Home with Pastor Tom Price officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to service.

Internment will immediately follow at Fisher Cemetery.
