Thelma Carpenter, 90, of Sissonville passed away Tuesday, July 7, 2026 after a long illness. For those who wish to pass along their condolences, the funeral will be 1:00pm Thursday, July 16th at Long and Fisher Funeral Home, Sissonville. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will immediately follow the service at the Thaxton Cemetery in Sissonville.
