Terry Lee Gibson, 68, a lifetime resident of Poca River in Sissonville, passed away peacefully at Hubbard Hospice House on Saturday, August 11, 2018. He was the son of the late O.L. "Doc" Gibson and Sadabelle Gibson.

He is survived by his brother Sammy J. Gibson and wife Aynessa; nieces, Shelly D. Stover and her husband Bryan, Tonya L. Gibson and her fiance' Josh Callahan; great nieces, Leshia Thaxton and her husband Dustin, and Tara Walker. Terry had a host of cousins (too many to list), many special friends, and cousins, Bill and Barbara Beane, who came to see him often. There are a lot of close neighbors who watched over him, special thanks to even more of them.

The family would like the thank all the staff and doctors at CAMC, Cedar Ridge nursing home, ambulance services and a special thank you to Hubbard Hospice House. Very special thank you to Aynessa Gibson for all the help and care of Terry thru all the years, many thousands of meals fixed and medicine given all the help and care was much appreciated by Sam.

Terry has gone to see his Mom and Dad in heaven. May God bless you all.

Visitation will be held on from noon to 2pm on Wednesday, August 15, 2018 at Long & Fisher Funeral Home with services beginning promptly at 2pm with Pastor Robert Ball officiating. Burial will immediately begin at Gibson Family Cemetery, Poca River Rd.
