Tammy Kay Bailey, 50, of Ripley went to be with the Lord December 19, 2010 at home after a sudden illness.
Tammy was a Christian, loved knitting, being outdoors and especially loved her dogs. She loved the simple things in life and was always happy and down to earth.
She was preceded in death by her father, Herndon Bailey and numerous aunts, uncles and grandparents.
Left to cherish her memory are her mother, Jessie Bailey of Ripley; sister, Barbara Scruggs of Ripley; aunts, Sadie Bonnett of Nitro and Vernice Webb of Liberty; uncle, Shelby Bailey of Paden City; nieces and nephews, Angela Scruggs, who was also Tammy''s Caregiver, of Ripley, Russell Scruggs of Ripley, Nathaniel Pauley, Noah, Julia, Haley, and Matthew Scruggs.
The Funeral Service will be 2pm Wednesday, December 22 at Long and Fisher Funeral Home, Sissonville with Pastor Billy Casto officiating. Entombment will be in Floral Hills Garden of Memories, Sissonville.
A gathering of family and friends will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
