Our precious, beautiful mom, Polly Green, went home to be with the Lord, on Thursday, May 9, 2024. She passed peacefully at home surrounded by her children. She has now been reunited with her soulmate and the love of her life, Roy. Anyone who knew our mom knows what a sweet, kind and loving person she was. She loved Jesus, her family and her friends. Mom and dad spent many years serving the Lord through their music ministry singing at churches in the area. They recorded many songs, some of which she wrote. She loved spending time outdoors, swinging on her front porch and being with her family. She enjoyed picking fresh vegetables from her garden and working in her flowerbeds. She adored her grandchildren and great grandchildren and played countless games of football, baseball, and anything else they wanted to play.

She leaves behind her loving children, Leroy Green (Nancy), Timmy Green (Cindy), Sue Legg (Mark), and Mindy Green. Her grandchildren Christopher Green, Travis Green, Tyler Green, Tori Reynolds (Taylor). Her great grandchildren Lainey Green, Ellie Grace Green, Eli Green, Teagan Green and Norah Ervin. Her siblings Carolyn Hayes, Cathy Holmes, Darlene Lowe, Larry Carroll, Randy Carroll, Terry Carroll, Kevin Carroll and Sandra Barron. She also leaves behind her feline friend "Momma Cat" who was her faithful companion that rarely left her side. She is preceded in death by her loving husband Roy Green, father Delbert Walker, mother Estelle Shafer Walker, sister Earlene Riggs, and her precious baby granddaughter Leslie Ann Green. She will be greatly missed, but will always be forever in our hearts.

Funeral services will be held on at 1:00 P.M. on Monday, May 13, 2024 at Long & Fisher Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Jenkins family cemetery.

Visitation will be held from 12:00 - 1:00 P.M. at the funeral home before the service.
