Sue Elaine Haynes Young, 78, of Sissonville passed away February 23, 2014 in Angel Avenue Assisted Living.

Sue was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Raymond Keith Young Sr. and also by her parents, Hobert and Murriel Haynes.

Left to cherish her memory are sons, Raymond Keith Young Jr. and Shannon Bates (Sandie) all of Sissonville; brother, Michael R. Haynes (Jon) of Ripley; and sister, Ann E. McDonald of Prescott, Arizona.

Funeral Service will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 26 at Long & Fisher Funeral Home, Sissonville with Pastor David Mullens officiating. Entombment will follow in Floral Hills Garden of Memories.

A gathering of family and friends will be 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

The family would like to give special thanks to the staff of Angel Avenue Assisted Living and HospiceCare for the excellent care provided to Sue.
