Obituary

Sue Anderson, 79, of Pocatalico, peacefully went to be with her son, Dale, in Heaven on February 13, 2015.

Sue was born March 29, 1935 in Nash County, North Carolina to the late Herbert and Penny Farmer. "Momma Sue" was known and loved by many. She always had a warm heart and an open door. She provided comfort to others through involvement with Compassionate Friends and Parents of Murdered Children.

Sue was preceded in death by her son, Kenneth "Dale" Wylie; and sisters, Betty Jo Coker of Tarboro, NC and Ann Smith of Ocala, Florida.

Left to cherish her memory are loving husband of 52 years, Daniel "Dan"Anderson living at the family home; son, Danny Anderson of Massillion, OH; daughters, Vicki Anderson-Gregg of Kent, OH and Denise Mannion of Mooresville, NC; "Granny" to, Christopher and Courtney Wylie of Austin, TX, Lindsay Mannion of Atlanta, GA, Landyn Mannion of Wilmington, NC and Audrey Gregg of Kent, OH; and daughter-in-law, Debi Wylie of Austin, TX.

Funeral service will be 11am Monday, February 16 at Long & Fisher Funeral Home with Pastor Al Mendez officiating. A gathering of family and friends will be 4-6pm Sunday, February 15 at Long & Fisher Funeral Home, 6837 Sissonville Drive, Pocatalico.

The family would like to express their deepest thanks to the caregivers at Hubbard Hospice House for their comfort, compassion and support.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to Hubbard Hospice House, 1001 Curtis Price Way, Charleston, WV 25311-1824.
