Steven Ray Matlock, 68, of Sissonville went home to be with the Lord on January 3, 2024. Born on November 28, 1955 to the late Edward Matlock and Eula Mae Critchley.

Steven worked for Kanawha Manufacturing for 32 years before retiring. He loved his children and grandchildren dearly.

In addition to his parents, Steven is preceded in death by his step-father Harold Arrington, brother Edward Matlock and granddaughter Kaylee "KK" Matlock.

Those left to cherish his memory include his loving wife of 43 years, Dawn Matlock, sons Brian (Tasha) Matlock, Sean Matlock, and Joshua Matlock, sister Anne (Owen) Smith of Valparaiso, IN, brothers James "Tate" (Marie) Matlock of Hopewell, VA, and John Arrington of Charleston, WV, nine grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews and his beloved fur baby Cinda Mae "his little girl".

At the request of Steven, there will be no services held.
