Stephen Wayne Smith, 63, of Charleston, WV, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, June 26, 2024. Stephen was bornin Charleston, WV, to John and Evelyn Smith.

Stephen graduated from Sissonville High School in 1979. He was employed by Niterra.

Stephen is preceded in death by his wife Vicki Starcher Smith.

Those left to cherish his memory include his parents John and Evelyn Smith of Charleston, brother Roger Smith (Mary) of Chesapeake, VA, nephews Logan Smith (Kelsey), Luke Smith of Chesapeake, VA, and Alston Smith of Colorado Springs, Colorado, and special friend Jack Tate.

Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, July 20, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. at Floral Hill Garden of Memories Mausoleum.

Visitation will be held from 12:00 - 1:00 p.m. prior to the service at the mausoleum.
