Stephen Eugene Atkins, 75, of Sissonville, WV, passed away on Friday, January 17, 2025. He was born on November 11, 1949, to the late Siegal J. Atkins and Doris Jean Baldwin Atkins.

Stephen served in the United States Army in Washington, DC. He was a union steward for the CWA Local 2001. After retiring from C&P Telephone Company, Stephen became the owner and operator of the Village Café in Sissonville.

In addition to his parents, Stephen is preceded in death by his brother Jimmy Atkins.

Those left to cherish his memory include his loving wife of 53 years, Susan Atkins; two children, Steven Atkins (Mendy) and Stacy Jordan (Michael); grandchildren Megan Atkins, Emily Atkins (Cory Willard), Olivia Nida (Anthony), Alexys Spaulding, Cameron Spaulding, Amber Landers (Jameson), and Abbey Grimm (Luke), great-grandchildren, Dawson Ballard, Kaspen Ballard, Trenton Lacy, Thomas Lacy, Aria Nida, Lincoln Todd, Mayci Landers, Brecken Landers, and Paisley Grimm, one sister Shelia Shively.

In keeping with his wishes, Stephen will be cremated. No services will be held at this time.
