Stella Browning Jones, 81 of Charleston West Virginia, passed away on August 21, 2021 at
Genesis Teays Valley. She retired from Kanawha County Schools as a dental assistant.
Preceding in death, is her husband Donald Jones Sr.; parents, Haskell and Elsie Browning; son
Keith Jones; brothers, Bill Browning and wife Doris, Carlos Browning and wife Ellen, Junior
Browning and wife Shirley; sisters, Thelma Johnson and Vera West.
Left to cherish her memories are her son Donald "Donnie" Jones Jr. and wife Jonda; daughter,
Ardith "Denise" McAllister and husband Rick; brother, John Browning and wife Ruth and sister
Della Cogar; grandchildren; Danielle Jones, Bailee Jones, Chelsee Jones, Dylan Good
(Stephanie), Dakota Good (Mary), Taylor McAllister and wife Kyleigh; great grandchildren Hope
Faulkner, Analeigh Stuckey, Luca Good, Jasper and Lyla McAllister.
Funeral service will be held on Thursday August 26, 2021 at 2pm.Visitation is one hour prior to
service. Bill Jones will be officiating. Arrangements are provided by Long & Fisher Funeral
Home.
The family would like to say a "Special Thank you" to Genesis Teays Valley, especially her two
favorite nurses, Angie Hamrick and Brandy Potter along with Brandon Dickson from Physical
Therapy
