Stanley K. Fields, 65, of Sissonville went to be with the Lord Monday, November 30, 2009 at home after a short illness.
Stanley was retired from Kanawha Stone Company, Inc.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Bradford and Ethel Fields, and a brother, James Fields.
Left to cherish his memory are loving wife, Brenda Fields at home; daughters, Dena Fields and significant other, Craig Jarvis, Heather Harding and her husband, Rob, Denise Haynes and her significant other, Tony Knuckles,all of Charleston, Tara Rice and her husband, Chris, of Kentucky; son, Jay Holmes and his significant other, Jennifer Linzy of Charleston; brothers, Roger Fields of St. Albans, Leon "Dick" Fields, and Ronnie Fields all of Charleston; sisters, Hazel Thaxton, Ida Haynes, Ruby Walker, and Susie Edens all of Charleston; and grandchildren, Jackson Rice, Chloe Harding, and Chase Harding all of Charleston.
The Funeral Service will be 3pm Wednesday, December 2 at Long and Fisher Funeral Home, Sissonville with Pastor Fairley McCormick officiating. Burial will follow in Floral Hills Garden of Memories, Sissonville.
A gathering of family and friends will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
