Shirley Mae McDonald, 67, of Sissonville passed away peacefully at her home on Thursday, November 24, 2016 surrounded by her loving family.

She was born in Kanawha County to the late Earnest and Violet Holstein. Shirley enjoyed cooking for the holidays and spending time with family.

Shirley will be missed by her children, Jody McDonald and his wife Brandy, Robert Allan McDonald, Budda McDonald, and Terri Potter; sisters, Elouise, and Sandy; brother, Herschel; 18 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren; and a host nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Robert William McDonald; sisters, Mary, DeeDee, Patricia, and Desi; and brothers, Darrell, Harold, and Randy.

Funeral Services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 1, 2016 at Long & Fisher Funeral Home, with visitation one hour prior to service. Burial will immediately follow at Marmet Cemetery.
