Thanks to Ronnie Hart for years of support for our parents. We thank Peggy Smith for years of care-giving, and for the last week and a half of our father''s life, we also thank Lydia Galloway and Hospice of Charleston.
Until 6 weeks ago, his health was unbelievable for his age. Several mini-strokes took their toll. He loved life, the challenges, the planning, his family and friends.
Visitation will be at the Crossroads Community Church from 6 to 8 PM, on Sunday, June 1st.
On Monday, June 2nd, visitation will begin at 2 PM at the Crossroads Community Church, with the celebration of his life following at 3 PM. Entombment will follow at Floral Hills Garden of Memories Mausoleum in Pocatalico.
Please do not send flowers, as memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Charleston, or the Crossroads Community Church (326 Martins Branch Rd., Charleston, WV 25312).
He will be missed. From his great-granddaughter, Ava, "Pop, love you."
Look not to others for encouragement, for encouragement comes from within, and is the harvest of your own uniqueness.
