Sarah Mildred Ashby-90, Went home to be with the Lord and the loved ones who left before her on February 27, 2012.
Millie was the beloved wife of late Clyde Ashby. She was preceded in death by her children Kenneth Allen, Clyde Jr. and Carolyn Sue. She was the daughter of the late Everett and Oma Jane (Reynolds) Wines. She was the sister of the late Opal Taylor, Effie Shiley, Agee Wines and Jim Wines.
Those left to cherish her memory are her daughter Jackie Kermans and son Gary Ashby, her brother Lawrence (Reva) Wines and her nine grandchildren Chris, Chrystal,Theresa, Angie, Kim, Gary Jr., Kenneth Allen Jr., Kevin and Jeff. She was the loving Great Grandmother to 19 and the Great Great Grandmother of 2. She was the loving "adopted" grandmother to many.
Funeral service will be 1:00 PM Sunday March 4, 2012 at the Long and Fisher Funeral Home with the Rev. Keith Monday officiating.
Burial will follow in the Ashby Family Cemetery, Sissonville.
