Roy Gilbert Absten Jr., 36, of Sissonville, passed away May 20, 2022. Born August 27, 1985 in Norfolk, VA, he was the son of Roy Gilbert Absten Sr. of Sissonville, WV, and the late Judy Bell. Roy was an outdoorsman who loved hunting and fishing. In addition to his father, he is survived by his brother, Bobby Bell; sister, Dawn Shirley; several nieces, nephews, many cousins, and his four-legged companion, Hadie. The family will hold a memorial service at a later date. Long & Fisher Funeral Home is assisting the family with cremation arrangements.
