Rodney L. Hackney's Obituary
Rodney L. Hackney, 58, formerly of Charleston, WV, died Sunday, November 6, 2011. Born June 24, 1953 in Charleston, WV, he was the son of Martha Alice Counts Hackney and the late Otmer A. Hackney.
Surviving are his mother, Martha Alice Hackney of Anderson; 3 sisters, Valerie Hackney of Anderson, Carolyn "Carol" Marcy and her husband Craig of Simpsonville and Cathy Rogers and her husband Michael of Gray Court and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his father, Rodney was preceded in death by 2 brothers, Arnold and David Hackney.
Funeral service will be held at 11am Friday at Long & Fisher Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Sissonville Memorial Gardens.
