Robert Glenn Sturgeon, 51, of Sissonville went to be with the Lord May 9, 2011 at home after a short illness.
Robert was a loving son, brother, father and little buddy. He was an avid harley-davidson motorcycle fan and especially loved riding.
Left to cherish his memory are daughter, Holly Powell of Parkersburg; father, Robert Lee Sturgeon and his wife, Chriss, of Belpre, OH; mother, Deanna Fisher of Sissonville; sisters, Debra Sturgeon and Kathleen McBurney and her husband, Thomas, all of Sissonville; half-brother, Rodney Eades of St. Albans; niece and nephew, Jon McCoy and Stephanie Clendenin; and friend and caregiver, Chris Thaxton of Sissonville.
It was Robert''s request to be cremated. There will be a celebration of his life held at noon Saturday, May 14 at 1749 Lakeland Circle, Sissonville.
