Obituary

Robert "Smokey" Lotts, 64, of Enon, Ohio passed away suddenly on October 11 at his sister's home in Charleston.
He was born in Baltimore, Maryland on February 3, 1944 and raised in Charleston. He graduated from Stonewall Jackson in 1963 where he was a football star. He went on to retire from Duriron Company in Dayton after 33 years of service. He was an avid hunter and a Cleveland Browns fan who was loved by all and will be deeply missed.
He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and uncle.
He was preceded in death by his parents, James Atley and Jeane Francis Lotts.
He is survived by his wife Deborah; children, Carol Vandergriff and husband Jeff, Lori Lotts, Robin Crady and husband Tim, Christy Fischer and husband Chuck, Ryan Hanson and wife Julie; grandchildren, Robert, Raymond, Becca, Brittany, Evan, Coy and Ryan; siblings, Susan Staats and husband John, Jimmy Lotts and wife Becky, Sandy Nester, and Vicky Griffith; and many nieces and nephews.
The service is being held at 1 p.m. Monday, October 13 at Long and Fisher Funeral Home, Sissonville.
Visitation will be two hours prior to the service. Burial will be at Graceland Memorial Park, South Charleston.
