Obituary

Robert Timothy “Tim” Harrison, 62, of South Charleston, went to be with our Lord on November 2, 2026. He was born on November 27, 1963, in Charleston, WV. He spent most of his life living in Nitro, WV, and later resided at South Charleston Unity Apartments.

Tim worked as a utilities coordinator and was known for his kind, generous, and caring nature. He had an outgoing personality and was liked by many, making friends wherever life took him. Tim enjoyed reading, following sports, and keeping up on politics. He was a lifelong Dallas Cowboys fan and a devoted lifelong fan of the band KISS. He leaves behind memories that will be treasured by those who knew and loved him. His passing leaves a void in the lives of family and friends, but the connections he made will not be forgotten.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Lisa Renee Thomas Harrison; father, Robert Austin Harrison; mother, Harriet Deanna Barker Harrison; and aunt, Bonnie Sue Barker Willard.

Survivors include his brother, Daniel Austin Harrison, and wife, Amanda, of Cedar Grove, WV; nephew, Johnathen Higginbotham, and wife, Haley, along with their children, Kolbie and Forest; uncles and aunts, Wayne and Ruby Harrison, and Bob and Linda Barker; many cousins, including Jeanette Davis, Billy Willard, Shane, Beth and Lori, Jennifer, and Theresa; and many other friends and loved ones.

Memorial services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 10, 2026, at Long and Fisher Funeral Home, with Pastor John Jenkins officiating. Burial will follow the service.

Friends may gather with the family an hour before the service.
