Robert L. Cremeans, 79, of Charleston, WV, passed away at home on Sunday, July 31, 2022 after a long illness. Bob was born on April 18, 1943 to the late Nancy V. Cremeans and Nathanael E. Cremeans, who passed 8 hours prior to his son's birth. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by the father who raised him from the age of 2 years, John Sullivan, as well as all of his siblings. He is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Mary F. Lett Cremeans; brother-in-law, Gene Lett and sister-in-law, Rosie M. Lett, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and their families and friends. Uncle Bob served in the United States Air Force. He worked for the US Postal Service and retired from the Charleston Police Department. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.m. on Thursday, August 4, 2022 at Long & Fisher Funeral Home in Sissonville with Rev. Victor Keathley, officiating. Mausoleum entombment will follow at Floral Hills Garden of Memories in Sissonville. Visitation will be held one hour prior to services at 1:00 P.M.
