Richard N. Lanham, 70, of Sissonville passed away at home on August 11 after a long illness. He was born September 4, 1942 to the late Sanford and Ruby Ramsey Lanham.

Richard enjoyed fishing, visits from his family and reading his bible.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by sister, Peggy Lanham Sizemore; brothers, Kenny and Dallas Lanham and one daughter, April Lanham.

Those left to cherish his memory are his loving wife Brenda Thaxton Lanham; children, Dickie Lanham of Charleston, Ricky Lanham of Charleston, Beverly White of TN, Candy Keefer of Charleston, Angelia Webb of Deepwater, Cindi Scott of Boomer, Tony Lanham of Smithers; step-children, Robert Thaxton of Swansboro, NC, Lisa Mountcastle of Orlado, FL; brother, Bob Lanham and his wife Mary of Summersville; 16 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and tons of nieces, nephews and friends.

Service will be 1 PM, Wednesday, August 14 at Floral Hills Garden of Memories Mausoleum Chapel, Sissonville. Friends may call from noon until the time of the service at the mausoleum.
