Raymond Allen Hinzman, 84, of Sissonville, WV, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, November 9, 2025, surrounded by his loving family. He was born on March 3, 1941, to the late Thermus and Olive Pritt Hinzman.
Raymond was an Air Force Veteran, stationed in Alaska for four years. He was a past member of Mount Tabor Church of God in St. Albans, WV. Raymond owned his own construction company and loved woodworking. He was a retired Lowes employee at the Cross Lanes location.
In addition to his parents, Raymond is preceded in death by his wife of 51 years, Emma Jane Hinzman, his sister, Carolyn, and his brothers, Michael and Jerry Hinzman.
Those left to cherish his memory include his daughter, Samantha Light (Donny), stepson, Richard Coulter (Celena), grandchildren, Heather Light (Brian), Zach (Katie), Christian (Rachel), great-grandchildren, Isaiah, Jacob, Noah, and Benjamin, and nephews, Chris and David Hinzman.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 15, 2025, at Long & Fisher Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Floral Hills Garden of Memories.
Visitation will be held one hour prior.
