It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Ray Casdorph on July 17, 2024 at the age of 85. Ray was born on November 24, 1938 in Charleston, WV.

Ray met the love of his life and beloved wife, Barbara Casdorph of 62 years. Ray was known for his strong will and endless love and support for his family. He had a passion for sports where basketball was his favorite. Ray worked in maintenance for Charleston Area Medical Center for 36 years. After retiring, he enjoyed spending his time with his family.

Those left to cherish his memory include his wife Barbara Casdorph; daughters Marsha Casdorph, Lisa Smith; grandchildren Chelsea Smith, Victoria Jarrett; and seven great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00p.m. on Thursday, July 25, 2024 at Long & Fisher Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Floral Hills Garden of Memories.

Visitation will be held from 1:00 - 2:00p.m. at the funeral home prior to the service.
