Randy Ray Shaffer, 66, of Sissonville, passed away on June 9, 2023 after a short illness. Born on October 30, 1956 in Charleston, he was the son of Alva Faye Hugart and the late Hollie Ray Shaffer. In addition to his father he was preceded in death by his brother, Timothy L. Shaffer. Randy enjoyed being outside and spending time with family and friends. He worked as a Stonemason for over 50 years. In addition to his mother, Alva Shaffer, Randy is survived by his wife, Linda Shaffer; daughters, Jessica and Tacy; beloved grandson, Colson; sister, Rita; brothers, Lannie and Kevin, and many nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Randy's life will be held at 12:00 P.M. on Thursday, June 15, 2023 at Long and Fisher Funeral Home in Sissonville. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at 11:00 A.M.
