Randall "Duke" Lee Patton Sr., 81, of Charleston, WV, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, December 8, 2024. He was born on October 4, 1943, to the late Henry and Dollie Proctor Patton.

Duke enjoyed spending time with his family and grandchildren. He liked to hike and spend time in the woods.

In addition to his parents, Duke is preceded in death by his sister Jo Ann Long, brothers Rickey Patton, Ronald Patton, and Harley (Mary) Patton.

Those left to cherish his memory include his loving wife of 56 years, Gwendola Patton; daughter Inca (William) Miller; sons Randall Jr. (Anna) Patton, James Patton, and Travis (Cara) Patton; brother Tank Patton; sisters Sue (Raymond) Bauldwinten, Kay Patton Whiting; grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, December 17, 2024 at Long & Fisher Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Patton Cemetery, Sissonville.

Visitation will be held from 10:00 -11:00 a.m. at the funeral home before the service.
