Randall L. Bowles,59, of Charleston passed away on November 16th while on vacation in Kissimmee, Florida.
Randy graduated from Charleston High School in 1969. He served in the United States Army and was a veteran of the Vietnam War. Randy was decorated for his service to his country with awards including the Vietnam Service Medal with One Bronze Star.
Randy was a member of the VFW and enjoyed sharing with and selflessly assisting his fellow veterans in whatever manner.
Randy was loved by his family and friends and will be greatly missed.
Randy is survived by his parents: Harold and Helen Bowles of Charleston, WV. Sisters: Valerie Ann Cobb of Kenna. Lori Lee and her husband Rick Meadows of Charleston Brother: Rick Bowles and wife Susan of Winfield as well as a number of nieces and nephews, cousins and a host of friends. Funeral service will be 1:00 PM Monday November 23, 2009 at the Long and Fisher Funeral Home with the Rev. Kay Lowther officiating.
Burial will follow in the Floral Hills Gardens of Memories with full Military Graveside Rites by VFW Post 61.
