Railyn Hope Carpenter, one week old, gained her precious little angel wings and was carried into Heaven's gates to be with our Lord on Wednesday, November 14, 2018 at Hubbard Hospice House. She was an amazing little fighter of anencephaly.

Our little Railyn is preceded in death by her great-grandparents: Sanford (Allen) Thomas I, Dallas Carpenter I, Marvin Mcmillion, Gene Thompson, and Jim Burgess.

Her beautiful memory will forever be cherished by her parents: Andrew and Samantha; her loving big sisters: Kailey and Aubrey; Paternal grandparents: Dallas II & Yvonne carpenter; Maternal grandparents: Sanford II & Paula Thomas; Aunts: Tiffany Thomas, Cheyan Thomas and Kristin Carpenter; Uncle: Dallas III (Paul) Carpenter; Cousins: Mia and Pierce Carpenter; Great-grandparents: Charles and Mary Taylor, Hilda Thomas, Agnes Thompson and Loretta Burgess. Also, a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

"An angel in the book of life wrote down our baby's birth. And whispered as she closed the book, "too beautiful for earth."

Funeral services will be held at noon on Saturday, November 17, 2018 at Long & Fisher Funeral Home with visitation one hour prior to service. Pastor George Webb will be officiating. Burial will immediately follow Humphrey's Cemetery.

We would like to thank everyone who has been along this journey with Railyn. through our ups and downs, we could not have done it without you. We would also like to thank Cabell-Huntington Hospital and Hubbard Hospice House for everything they did to help our little Railyn. A special thanks to Heather Bowles for helping make her life here on earth better and for accepting us as a part of her family.
