Phyllis E. Hammond (nee Hall), age 82, entered into God's loving arms on April 9, 2019. She was a longtime member of Nottingham Baptist Church. Phyllis was the loving wife of the late Howard Hammond Jr.; loving mother of Sherie Lazor (Thomas), Carolyn Hammond, and Richard (Nadine); cherished grandmother of Ashley Hammond, Adam Hammond (deceased), Denise Lash, Diane Hodges, Emily Ferraro (David), Michael Refe, Megan and Ryan Hammond; great grandmother to Robert Iuliani, Anthony, Brianna, Crystal, and Morgan Greenawalt; youngest sister of 3 sisters and 5 brothers. Loving aunt, sister-in-law, and cherished friend to many. The family will receive friends from 4:00 until 8:00 PM, Friday, April 12, 2019 at the Jakubs & Son Funeral Home, 936 E. 185 ^th Street, Cleveland and on Sunday from 2:00 until 5:00 PM at the Long & Fisher Funeral Home, 6837 Sissonville Drive, Charleston, WV. Graveside services will be 11:00 AM, Monday in Tyler Mountain Memorial Garden.
