God called home one of the most Godly women in this world. Irene "Pete" McNeely, 80, went home to be with our Lord on Monday March 19, 2007 quietly in her sleep. She was originally from Logan County, WV and was retired from H.L. Green in Charleston, and resided in Charleston.
Surviving is her loving husband of more than 57 years William "Ed" McNeely. She was a member of Union Valley Gospel Tabernacle. She is also survived by sisters, Iona Dent of Hewett, and Emogene and Robert Jenkins of Charleston, and her brother Ralph Baldwin of Sissonville, along with several nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be 11:00 AM Thursday March 22, 2007 at the Union Valley Gospel Tabernacle, Tupper''s Creek with the Pastor Roy Moles officiating. Entombment will follow in the Floral Hills Gardens of Memories Mausoleum, Pocatalico. Friends may call from 6 to 8 PM Wednesday at the church.
She will be missed by all who loved and knew her.
