Penina Prenticestein "Prenny" Pierson passed away of February 9, 2013. She was born March 13, 1935 to the late Delmer and Glada Miller Rhodes.

She was retired from Ramada Inn and attended North Hills Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by brother and his wife, Dana and Betty Long; sister and her husband, Arlene and Ronald Harrison; nephews Dwight Long, Craig White and Lee Harrison.

Those left to cherish her memory are her loving husband of 40 years, Arthur "Tom" Pierson; sister, Elizabeth Emogene White; daughters Karen Edgell and her husband Rich of Bridgeport, Sandra Nunley and her husband Charley of Tornado, Linda Breeden and her husband John of Charleston; grandsons, Justin (Elizabeth) Winter of Charleston, Jesse Nunley of Tornado, Travis (Angela) Nunley of Winfield, Brant and Seth Edgell of Bridgeport, and several nieces and nephews.

Service will be 2 PM Wednesday, February 13 at North Hills Baptist Church, Sissonville with Pastor Mike Harper Officiating. Entombment will follow in Floral Hills Garden of Memories Sissonville.

Friends may call from 6-8 PM Tuesday, February 12 at Long & Fisher Funeral Home, Sissonville.
