Pearl Myers, 89, of Sissonville went to be with the Lord March 29, 2009 after a long illness.
Pearl was a member of Victory Primitive Advent Church. She loved the Lord, and lived for her family, who were always the most important thing to her.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Myers; sons, Danny and Ray Myers; and parents, Romance and Minnie Lanham Parsons.
Survived by children and their spouses, Elbert "Al" and Peggie Myers of Tampa, Fl, Lawrence and Mary Myers of Sullivan, OH, Fred and Rose Myers of Sissonville, Rocky and Drema Myers of Ripley, Gwen and John Wolfe of Sissonville, and Joyce and Bob Lowe of Sissonville; sister, Betty and John Russell of Barnwell, SC; twelve grandchildren, ten great grandchildren, and two great great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank the staff of CAMC General, Dr. Jill Fields, and Scott Casdorph for their wonderful care of Pearl.
The funeral service will be 10am Thursday, April 2 at Long and Fisher Funeral Home, Sissonville with Pastor Danny Beckner officiating. Burial will follow in Jones Cemetery, Martins Branch.
A gathering of friends and family will be 6-8pm Wednesday at the funeral home.
