Pauline Yvonne Ferrell Monk, 86, of Sissonville, WV, died peacefully on July 17, 2026. She was born in Charleston, WV, on September 1, 1939. Pauline was a business owner across 30 years. She was a devoted Christian member of both Kanawha Two-Mile Gospel Tabernacle Church and Calvary Nazarene in Sissonville. She loved attending gospel sings and watching her favorite sports teams. At home, she loved baking pies and gardening. Most of all, she cherished her role as mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Pauline is survived by her loving husband, Danny; her children, David Jr. "Pete" (Nancy) Ferrell of Sissonville, Dana (Tracy) Ferrell of Sissonville and Robin (Mark) Martin of Conway, SC; and six grandchildren, David III, Taylor, Cameron, Autumn, Brooks and Danica. Four great grandchildren Elliot, Adaline, Deegan and Dutton. Sisters Pearl Baker and Penny Rutherford, brother Patrick Taylor. She is preceded in death by her first husband David Lee Ferrell, parents, Ova and Bessie Taylor, sisters Phyllis and Pansy, brother Paul. A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, July 22, 2026, at Sissonville High School Auditorium starting at 1:00pm. A visitation will be held from 11:00am to 1:00pm. She will be laid to rest at Floral Hills Cemetery in Sissonville, WV. All friends and family are welcome to attend. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Kanawha Two-Mile Gospel Tabernacle Church.
