Paul G. Johnson, 71, of Sissonville passed away October 21, 2015 in Hubbard Hospice House after a short illness.

Paul was a retired machinist from AEP, he was a thoughtful, caring father, grandfather and friend. He was never to busy to lend a helping hand. He was loved a lot and will be greatly missed.

Preceded in death by parents, Paul G. Johnson Sr. and Norma Bailey; sisters, Betty Cassidy and Margaret McCrary; and brother, Andy McCrary.

Left to cherish his memory are loving son, Mark Johnson of Sissonville; granddaughter, Courtney Johnson of Charleston; brother, Earl Johnson of Ohio; and beloved "girl", Gracie Marie.

The family would like to thank Dr. Justin Cohen and the staff of CAMC Cancer Center, HospiceCare, Scott Casdorph, Beth Plants and Staff, and the staff of Hubbard Hospice Care.

Service will be 2pm Saturday, October 24, 2015 at Long & Fisher Funeral Home, Sissonville with Pastor Bill Bartlett officiating. Entombment will follow in Floral Hills Garden of Memories, Sissonville.

A gathering of family and friends will be two hours prior to the service at the funeral home.
