Patricia "Pat" E. Whittington, 89, of Charleston, WV, passed away on Tuesday, September 23, 2025. She was born on January 2, 1936, to the late Dock D. Haynes and Estel Miller Haynes.

Pat was a 1953 graduate of Stonewall Jackson High School. She retired from Accounting & Tax Offices, Inc. Pat was an active member of Fisher Chapel Church, where she taught adult Sunday School classes for over 40 years. Her Christian values were reflected in the way she lived her life.

In addition to her parents, Pat is preceded in death by her husband, Leroy Whittington, and her seven siblings: Vernon "Bill" Haynes (Gladys), Rev. O.F. Haynes (Garnet), Orville D. Haynes (Mary Ellen), Denver W. "Dick" Haynes (June), Rev. L.C. "Tom" Haynes (Mary), Glaphia Cavender (Ralph), and Phyllis A. Lynch (Bill).

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, September 26, 2025, at Long & Fisher Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Floral Hills Garden of Memories.

Visitation will be held from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. before the service.
