Patricia Gale Pennington of Sissonville WV went home to be with the Lord on July 8, 2025 after a short illness at Thomas Hospital surrounded by her family. She was born on June 16, 1947 to Ivan and Velma Higginbotham.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her 4 year old son Nicholas Pennington. She is survived by her loving husband of 48 years Edward Pennington, her children: James (Linda) Pennington, Tony (Anna) Pennington, Gregory (Carolyn) Pennington, Timothy (Kathy) Pennington, Misty (Eddie) Peck, her brother Veldon (Janice) Higginbotham, sister in law Kathy Tully, and a multitude of grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren.

Pat attended Goldtown Community Church where she was known for her hugs and kisses each service. She never met a stranger and would talk to everyone. She loved to have big family meals with everyone and she enjoyed all of her grandchildren from the oldest to the youngest. She loved animals, and planting flowers and trees. She will be greatly missed by everyone. Pats service will be held on Saturday July 12, 2025 at Goldtown Community Church beginning at 1:00pm. The family will receive friends from 12:00pm - 1:00pm.
