Patricia Ann Edens, 86, of Charleston, West Virginia, passed away peacefully at home on August 4, 2026, surrounded by her loving family.

Born on August 25, 1939, Patricia was the daughter of the late Charles Mease and Bonnie Coffman Mease.

Patricia dedicated 10 years of service to Dairy Queen, where she truly enjoyed meeting people and brightening the day of everyone who walked through the door. Her warm smile, friendly conversation, and genuine kindness left lasting impressions on customers and coworkers alike.

She found joy in life's simple pleasures, especially gardening, cooking, and listening to music. Above all, Patricia treasured her family. She adored her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, and the time she spent with them brought her the greatest happiness. Her love, warmth, and gentle spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

In addition to her parents, Patricia was preceded in death by her grandsons, Josh Edens and Ryan Edens.

Those left to cherish her memory include her devoted husband of 70 years, William C. Edens; her children, Bill Edens, Mark Edens, Scott Edens, Matt Edens, Missi Edens, and Nikki Edens; her grandchildren, Sasha, Cody, Courtney, Nate, Seth, and Michael; her eight great-grandchildren, Maci, Abbi, Cami, Kashlynn, Waylon, Sadie, Aspen, and Jett; and three precious great-grandchildren who are expected to arrive soon.

She is also survived by her special cousin, Frankie Coffman, as well as Kathy Coffman Cobb and Kay Edwards.

The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to Hospice for the compassionate care and support they provided to Patricia and her loved ones during her final days.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Hospice in honor of Patricia Edens.

In keeping with Patricia's wishes, all services will be private.
