Ottmer Paxton, of Sissonville, died at home July 4th after a long illness. He was retired from Libby Owens Ford. Ottmer was a veteran of world war 11 and a member of VFW post 3066. He was preceded in death by his wife Eve Gay, father Christopher, mother, Dora, son Jerry and brother Darcel, Sisters, Catherine Roy and Genavee Duff. He is survived by son Timothy Paxton of Sissonville and sister Geneva Tolley of Ripley. Visitation will be at Long & Fisher Funeral Home with service to begin at 1pm, with Steve Poyet officiating. Burial will follow in Floral Hills Garden of Memories with Military Rites.
